Waseda Faculty of Science and Engineering has received governmental grants of various kinds and engaged in significant academic exchanges with European counterparts. Below, we showcase three such major projects, all of which have relevance in policy areas where there is substantial untapped potential for EU-Japan cooperation.
The first two projects, in particular, will be organised under the framework of the newly established Joint Institution for Advanced Biomedical Sciences between Tokyo Women’s Medical University and Waseda University, known as ‘TWIns’.
Under the auspices of the EUIJ, we are planning the following academic exchanges between Waseda faculty and their European counterparts.
| Year | Waseda faculty to the EU | EU scholars to Waseda |
