The Waseda-Bonn Project in EU law

Professor Takao Suami (School of Law) is currently collaborating with Professor Matthias Herdegen, Director, Institute for Public Law, University of Bonn. Their joint project revolves around international economic law, international trade law and EU law.

The Waseda-Oxford project in EU-Japan political relations

Associate Professor Hidetoshi Nakamura (Faculty of Political Science and Economics) has worked closely with Dr Hartmut Mayer, Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford, since December 2006. Their joint project revolves around EU-Japan political relations.

Other research projects with/on the EU

EUIJ Steering Comittee members are conducting several researches with/on the EU in addition to the projects above. One of the project is led by Prof. Suami and Prof. Tamio Nakamura, which is JSPS project in EU-Japan relations and EU law, entitled 'Comprehensive study on EU-Japan cooperation under the power-shifting global environment'.
